Where Gods Word is Magnified

New To City Baptist

Visiting any church, especially a new one, for the very first time can be an awkward experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to City Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your entire family. We want you to experience helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcomed and “at home.” Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

Where are Your Services?

Sunday service - Hoboken High School Auditorium (800 Clinton St)
Wednesday service - Hoboken Business Center (50 Harrison St)

When are Your Services?

Sunday 9:30am Sunday School
Sunday 10:30am Morning Worship

Children’s Church (ages 4-12) and Youth Group (7th-12th Grades) are available during 9:30am Sunday School.
Our Sunday 10:30am service is when we meet together as a family.
Nursery (ages 0-3) is available for all services.
Many travel a good distance to come to City Baptist, so we have light refreshments between Sunday services.

Wednesday 6:00pm Bible Study & Prayer

How Should I Dress?

There is not a dress code at City Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at City Baptist!

Where do I park?

Parking in Hoboken can be an experience all by itself. If you are familiar with parking in Hoboken you can usually find a spot nearby. On Sundays, for time and convenience, Sylvan Jefferson Garage is just two blocks away! The garage is located at 800 Jefferson Street.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We don’t invite you to City Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
